Founded in 1970, Marty started his career with an Amoco station in Countryside. Not knowing much about cars back then he decided to go to a tune up school to learn. After many hard years he grew his business by doing good honest work and being fair priced. By 1985 he saw the demand for a larger repair facility and built Maas Auto at the corner of 55th Street and Willow Springs Road. In 1989 I began working with my father and went to school to learn automotive diagnostics. He saw the industry changing and realized that Maas Auto needed to stay ahead of the ever changing automobile. In 1995 we opened a second Maas Auto location at the corner of 47th Street and Willow Springs Road. This new location was started to handle brakes, exhaust and front end work while the 55th Street location would handle all the diagnostics. We employ the best technicians in the industry and carry more diagnostic equipment than any other repair facility in the area. We have over 12 scanners, many of them are the OEM scanner, to access every system on the vehicles we service. Our technicians have their own laptops which can access our networked diagnostic information software, view customer history and also update and program vehicle computers. We send our technicians for training at least twice a year. For most shops European vehicles are very hard to repair. The equipment and information is expensive and hard to get. This leaves many shops guessing on parts because they don't train on these vehicles, don't have the proper scanners and can't get the information they need. Our European scanners are dealer level and so is our information system and training. NOONE in the area has more experience, equipment and training than we do. Our philosophy is the same as it was when my dad first opened his doors in 1970. Do quality work, be honest and fair priced. We look forward to showing you why we are the best in the business and our staff is commited to your 100 percent satisfaction. Please stop by to see our shop or give us a call.
